Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology

The Division of Gastroenterology cares patients having liver diseases, such as hepatitis, cirrhosis and hepatoma and patients having gastrointestinal diseases, such ulcers in the stomach or colon. The Doctors in this division are good at endoscopy and ultrasonography. They are good at therapeutic endoscopy and sonographic guided treatments. The Division is very active in research; there are many important papers about helicobacter pylori in the world coming from here. The Doctors are also active participated in multinational clinical trials for new drugs for hepatitis.
